6 MUST-EAT FOODS AT DISNEYLAND

There's no doubt about it, one of the best parts of a Disney vacation is the food! Whether it's a refreshing dole whip or a warm churro, you know it's bound to be delicious! Here's a list of 6 of our favorite foods at Disneyland:

1. Main Street Corn Dog

Hand-dipped in a golden batter, served hot and crunchy; there's a reason these made the list. Found in a red cart at the end of Main Street, these corn dogs are hands-down, the best you will ever try.

2. Churro's

What's better than a warm, soft churro after riding Splash Mountain? Nothing. Nothing is better than that. Seriously, the churro's at Disneyland are amazing! It's like cinnamon and sugar magic going on inside your mouth. You can find them at multiple places in the park; we usually get them from a stand located by the entrance of the Haunted Mansion.

3. Monte Cristo Sandwich

Ooey, gooey, sweet and salty; the Monte Cristo Sandwich is sure to please your tastebuds! What is a Monte Cristo, you ask? It's a turkey, ham and swiss cheese sandwich dipped in a delicious batter that is lightly fried. They serve it to you sprinkled with powdered sugar and a side of berry jam to dip it in. Divine! You can get it at two places in the park, Cafe New Orleans and Blue Bayou. (A little secret; it's $7.50 cheaper at Cafe New Orleans.)

4. Dole Whip

Ahh, the ever so coveted Dole Whip. It's our favorite treat on this list and for good reason; it's creamy, tart, and extra refreshing on a hot day at the park. They come in two varieties, a regular dole whip and a dole whip float, which is served with pineapple juice and a little umbrella. You can get yourself one at the Enchanted Tiki Room, located in Adventureland.

5.Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue

So we know this isn't necessarily one "food", but we had to list the entire restaurant because everything there is THAT good. They are an all you can eat place, so you really get your money's worth too. Ribs and barbecue chicken come to you in a metal bucket which sticks with the "western" theme and are served with corn on the cob, baked beans, coleslaw and delicious cornbread. Top it off with lemonade served in a mason jar and a cowboy playing you some tunes and you've got a pretty awesome place to eat in the park!

6. Gibson Girl Ice Cream

If you're craving any kind of ice cream during your trip, this is definitely the go-to place. The heavenly smell of baking waffle cones will draw you into the Victorian-style shop on Main Street, where inside you will find a delicious array of options to choose from. You can keep it simple and order a hand-scooped cone or if you're feeling adventurous, you can choose a float instead. Our favorite item on the menu? The Chocolate Chip Cookie Hot Fudge Sundae. Two scoops of vanilla ice cream, two freshly-baked cookies, hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry on top!
